GREEN TRANSFORMATION
We make sure that our activities are in line with the principles of sustainable development. Our approach to ecology includes not only meeting applicable standards and regulations, but also actively implementing solutions that minimize our impact on the environment
Sustainable production
Our production plants in Ostrołęka are equipped with modern technologies that allow us to produce steel structures with minimal impact on the environment.
We use production management systems that optimize the use of raw materials.
Processes such as shot blasting and painting are carried out with the aim of minimizing pollutant emissions. Additionally, we use recycling and material recovery systems, which allows us to reduce the amount of production waste.
Environmental Management System
We have certificates that confirm our commitment to environmental protection.
The use of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) standards guarantees that our activities are in line with international environmental management standards.
In our projects, we use materials and technologies that are environmentally friendly, and we also ensure that production processes meet stringent emission and environmental protection standards.
Environmental Product Declaration
EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is an environmental declaration that describes in detail the impact of a product on the environment throughout its life cycle.
OMIS has obtained the EPD certificate, which confirms our commitment to sustainable production and minimizing environmental impact.
Thanks to EPD, our customers are sure that they are using products that meet strict ecological standards. This is another step towards transparency and environmental responsibility in our activities.
Energy from nature – a responsible choice
We are proud to present a certificate confirming that 100% of the energy used by our company in 2024 comes from renewable sources.
With this certificate, we join the group of conscious and responsible energy consumers who actively contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development. This is another step in our commitment to ecological activity and minimizing our impact on the environment.
Renewable energy sources
We attach great importance to the energy efficiency of our production processes.
We use technologies that reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
We implement renewable energy sources, such as photovoltaic installations, which power our production plants. Our actions are aimed not only at reducing operating costs, but also at reducing our carbon footprint.
Sustainable Design and Innovation
We design and implement investments with the future in mind.
Our engineering solutions are not only functional and durable, but also environmentally friendly. We invest in innovations that allow for the creation of more efficient and ecological production systems.
An example is our projects in the field of energy, which include the construction of installations using renewable energy sources and the optimization of industrial processes in terms of minimizing the impact on the environment.
We implement projects that have a direct, positive impact on environmental protection. Our "green" projects include investments related to renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and ecological technologies. Each project is a step towards minimizing the negative impact on our planet and building a future in harmony with nature.
Since April 9, 2022, OMIS has been a member of the Masovian Hydrogen Valley, an initiative aimed at developing and promoting hydrogen technologies in the Masovian region. The Masovian Hydrogen Valley brings together companies, research institutes and local governments that cooperate to implement innovative solutions in the production, storage and use of hydrogen as an ecological source of energy.
Westinghouse Electric Company has signed a cooperation agreement with ten companies in Poland, including OMIS, for the potential construction of six AP1000 reactors.
This is part of the implementation of the Polish Nuclear Power Program and future projects using this technology in the Central and Eastern European region.
We are proud to be part of this initiative and to contribute our experience in industrial and energy engineering to projects that will contribute to the development of sustainable nuclear power in Poland in the future.
