As the Consortium Leader and the party responsible for the technological commissioning, we are pleased to inform you that on April 17, 2025, at 19:36, we successfully completed the trial run of a turnkey project involving the comprehensive conversion of a WR-25 boiler — transitioning from hard coal firing to biomass combustion.

The project for ENGIE EC Słupsk encompassed the development of the initial concept, multi-discipline preliminary design, architectural and construction design, as well as detailed technical and execution documentation. As part of the scope, all necessary formal documentation and administrative procedures were also prepared to obtain a valid building permit and, ultimately, the occupancy permit.

The project involved a comprehensive execution of the following areas: • Expansion of the biomass unloading, screening, and feeding system to the boiler,

• Boiler modernization – adaptation for 100% biomass combustion,

• Flue gas treatment system upgrade with redirection to a new chimney,

• Slag removal system modernization,

• Fire protection systems – including HRD explosion suppression and spark detection and extinguishing systems.
