Modernization of Unit No. 3 at the Ostrołęka B Power Plant
At the end of the year, a consortium of OMIS S.A. and IEN-PIB (Institute of Energy – National Research Institute) completed the modernization of Unit No. 3 at the Ostrołęka B Power Plant, making the unit ready for increased biomass co-firing. The project marks a significant step toward reducing the plant's environmental impact and aligning it with current environmental regulations.
The completed works confirm that a well-planned modernization can simultaneously improve the unit's environmental performance and enhance its operational reliability.
